Desiree (Co-Founder/Programs Director/Music Director) has been helping music schools get back on their feet since the disaster in 2010. For the past two years she has been donating her skills as a music instructor in Jacmel and Port-au-Prince.
By opening her own school, she is providing the same arts opportunities to those living a little further outside of the city.
Desiree is currently providing private instruction to any student already owning an instrument, but to fully begin classes Sa-K-La-K-Wel is in need of instruments.
